Using a site called playoffpredictors.com (give them some love), I will be going through all of ASU’s games along with the rest of the Big 12 to predict the Big 12 Championship and CFB Playoffs and how ASU fits into both of those.

At the end of the season, ASU finishes at the top of the Big 12 with their early season loss to Baylor not stifling them too much. They face Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship after Baylor loses their last game of the year, eliminating them from contention after a previously perfect conference record.

Big 12 Championship – Arizona State 24 | 20 Texas Tech

ASU takes out the Red Raiders and wins their 2nd Big 12 Championship in as many years. This might eliminate Texas Tech from the bracket.

Simulation Results

In our Simulation, Ohio State beats Miami in Round 1. Uh oh. ASU fights hard but isn’t matched up well for a Julian Sayin run offense firing on all cylinders and they fall 41-30. In Round 1 of the Playoffs, Alabama beats James Madison, Georgia beats Illinois, Ohio State knocks off Miami, and Oregon blanks Indiana. In Round 2, Alabama takes out Clemson, Georgia takes out Penn State, Ohio State outguns ASU, and Texas inches out Oregon. Texas beats Ohio State and Alabama knocks out rivals Georgia. And last but not least, Texas beats out Alabama for the National Championship.
