The Devils brought in a pretty solid class but not quite at the level of their play on the field last year. The playoff team had only the 60th rank class in the nation. They brought in the 13th class in the Big 12 and only had two 4 stars. Lets go over some of the impact players for this year.

Offense

So in terms of transfers that will most likely start this season, there’s Fresno State transfer Jalen Moss, who should step in and be the WR3 behind Jordyn Tyson and Malik McClain. Moss will probably also return kicks and punts on top of his workload. On the offensive line, Texas State guard Jimento Obigbo should start on the left side on the other side of Kyle Scott. Noble Johnson from Clemson and Jaren Hamilton from Alabama should serve as the WR4 and WR5. Kanye Udoh from Army will be the backup running back, more the thunder to Kyson Brown’s lightning.

Defense

Kyndrich Breedlove will be the starting Nickel for the Devils after coming in from Purdue. MyKeil Gardner comes in from Oregon to supplement the defensive line. Nyland Green also comes in from Purdue to backup Javan Robinson in the secondary. Adrian Wilson, safety from Washington State will back up Myles Rowser. Jesus Gomez from Eastern Michigan will take kickoffs and be the place kicker as well.

Notables

Other notable players coming in include QBs Michael Tollefson and Cameron Dyer. Freshman Chance Ables will be a strong X receiver in the future. AJ La, 4-Star TE from SoCal will be a strong option in the future, a great ball catcher and blocker. Brent and Wade Helton both transfer in from Iowa State, but probably won’t play.
